After earning praise PureView camera technology, Nokia seems to continuous innovations in the field. In 2014, the Finnish company could launch the first smartphone with a similar Lytro camera that allows refocus images after capture.
Lytro camera has been launched in 2011, but so far no similar technology has not made its debut on a smartphone. Nokia has already invested in Pelican Imaging, a company that has developed a similar system, but apparently decided to support the project further.
After a 42sqm PureView camera, which will make its debut this year with Windows Phone Nokia EOS, the Finnish company is counting on the attraction again a powerful camera.
With 16 individual targets, the camera captures Pelican which can then be altered images without losing quality. Options include changing the focus in different positions with changing background and resize elements of photography.
